Types of Knowledge

Fundamental Knowledge changes the way you think about things and provides a foundation for future way of thinking. This could be understanding about human nature or philosophical ideas about meaning of life.

Reinforcing Knowledge on the other hand is knowledge which is generally about things that happen that reinforce your previously held beliefs (often created by fundamental knowledge), this could be news about a specific event that may generalise a behavior of a stereotype or reinforcing stereotypes of already held beliefs.

Transient Knowledge on the other hand is knowledge which is generally about things that happen that do not affect your perception and beliefs about the world. This could be TV soap operas/daily general news/weather forecast.
