Quality Questions

To make people think and contemplate about a topic and derive their own conclusions is a greater art than telling them the answer upfront. It reflects trust in the inherent intelligence and wisdom of the audience. Delivering quality questions that entice and inspire is an art worth mastering.

Beliefs vs Values

How sturdy and reliable are beliefs?
If beliefs change in time, then at any one time their reliability is questionable.
Values on the other hand do not change in time. If we look at values such as compassion, justice, honesty and integrity, they do not change in time. Hence a life driven by values is by far more reliable than that driven by belief. Bringing the Best Out of Others

Every person has great qualities. Every single person. There are those who's negative qualities have overshadowed their good qualities. We start labelling people as good and bad, yet there is no such thing, we all encompass all qualities in various degrees and some dominate over others. Are we asking ourselves the right questions? "How can we bring the best out of myself and others through the states of mind, beliefs and behaviours?"

Inquiry : Replace "why" with "what causes"

"why" has a negative connotation to it. It hints of a judgemental and critical mindset. If we replace "why" with "what causes" we may get a much better response (both internally from the self and externally from others and our environment). Inquiry is essential for improvement and evolution. The way one approaches inquiry is with open mindedness and compassion towards all things (self included).

Every Person

Every person is a beautiful case study to understand about humanity, about human nature.
