Dealing with Failure
Never will you be free and happy and growing until you become comfortable with the fact that you will fail sometimes and that is totally ok - that is how you’re going to learn and grow.

Approach vs Quantity
We hear a lot about people trying so many times to succeed. What we don't hear enough about is that they are refining their approaches each time. For example Edison tried to make the light bulb work thousands of times and failed - doing so he found many ways that it did not work (eliminating approaches that fail) and hence getting close to the correct answer.
Einstein tells us "insanity is doing the same thing again and expecting different results". Indeed if Edison had tried the same approach making the light bulb the same way he would have been insane and we would be reading this in the dark right now (of course a less insane person would have most likely invented the light bulb by now). Einstein also goes on to say "we have not failed until we have exhausted every possibility". Hence trying many times with different approaches is the journey towards success.
"I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that don't work" - Thomas Edison.
